MOVEMENT ART and PLAY
“Movement, Art and Play” is an event held each week on Monday
evening at Communicating Vessels Center for Meditation in partnership
with
Albany Parks and Recreation. The fun, supportive atmosphere
fosters creativity, self-expression, and social interaction in the
Albany DD Community. A different activity is presented each week.
Open to all in the DD Community, residents of several Albany
area group houses regularly participate in these get-togethers.

Dances will be held in the Cafeteria/commons area. Use the front door.

Friday Night Club
The Friday Night Club is for young adults aged 16-25 with high functioning Autism or Asperger’s Syndrome. January 16, February 20, and March 20 from 7-9PM at the Oregon Language Center 237 3 rd Ave SW. Refreshments will be served. Cost will be $5/person. Some field trips may have an additional cost. Day Tripper
February 21 - Day Tripper will travel to Chinook Winds Bingo.
March 21- Day Tripper will travel to Willamette Queen.
Start at the PCL main office 480 East Main Street Monmouth, OR 97361. Travel schedule: 9:00 Am PCL Main Office, 10:30 Arrive at event activity, 12:00 Lunch, 3:30PM; Leave Activity, 5:00PM return to PCL Main Office. Some activities have an entry fee.
The thrifty tripper can bring lunch and a snack to save $$. Bring a bottle of water, meds, sun block, extra clothes, and jacket. Detailed information will be provided in monthly updates.
